Mr. Everson has provided the Firm’s clients with advice and legal representation in a myriad of employment issues, including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation retaliation claims, wrongful discharge claims, development, implementation and handling of employment policies and procedures, drug testing policies, OSHA compliance and retaliation claims, and WARN notifications.
Mr. Everson has practiced before a variety of administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and the Texas Workforce Commission.
Mr. Everson’s appellate experience includes appeals in the Second, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeal, writing a response to a Petition for Writ of Certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court, and appeals experience in Tennessee and Texas appellate courts.
Mr. Everson’s other experience includes laboratory malpractice defense; insurance coverage disputes, environmental litigation; personal injury cases; and commercial disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, and Deceptive Trade Practices claims.
